LIQUID EDITIONS collaborated with Weffan, a pioneering 3D-weaving company, to explore a new approach to garment construction. Together, we developed three pairs of trousers woven directly into their three-dimensional form, merging textile production and garment making into a single process.

By designing the garment into the weaving itself, the process significantly reduces the fabric waste associated with traditional cutting and construction, offering a new model for more efficient, localised production.

The collaboration was awarded the Fashion District Design Futures Innovation Prize 2022, recognising its potential to reshape garment manufacturing through low-waste technology and circular design.
